Cryptsy closed to us, why?
« on: February 15, 2014, 02:03:14 PM »
We are sorry but Colossus Coins are having issues with the block chain until the developers come up with a sustainable solution trading and wallet tx's have been suspended.

Please follow contact the developers for more information. When the market returns if you still have an issue feel free to open a new ticket.

There is already a post here http://colossuscointalk.org/index.php?topic=405.15

Bit John said he's going to get Col back up this coming week. It was halted because their wallet would hit a proof of work block and get a charge back and so their system registers it was sent to the address but no coins actually left their wallet, it triggers their fraud protection system and so trade gets halted.  Their system isn't quite the same as a blockchain, they use a ledger system to manage trade and send out coins from their wallet, they have 1 wallet for each currency. The blockchain is different, it will always go through, so our challenge is making it easier for Cryptsy to connect to the blockchain. The only problem is with the Cryptsy wallet so we are working closely with them to create solutions.
